It is with great pleasure that I endorse Ms. Laurie Donahue to continue to serve on the Indian Prairie School District Board of Education. She brings her corporate business background to the table. She is highly analytical and asks pertinent questions to achieve the best outcome for our students.
Her leadership on the Board has been unparalleled. As President of the Board, she has led the charge to change school boundaries and pass a referendum to provide learning environments that will provide 21st century education to our children for years to come. She has authored an Illinois Association of School Board Belief statement on student voting participation. Also, District 204 continues to provide Board member training sessions at the Illinois of Association of School Boards Convention. As a result, the District 204 School Board continues to recognized with their Governance Award.
In addition, Laurie tirelessly volunteers her time to serve our community. Whether visiting schools with her service dog, participating in countless school events, supporting the Indian Prairie Foundation, or substitute teaching at our schools, it is clear that she is a servant leader.
In conclusion, Ms. Donahue does deserve your serious consideration. She serves as a model for the community and her Board of Education colleagues. She is a humble, dedicated, and effective Board member. With your vote, she will continue to be a true asset to our school district.

Vote for: Laurie Donahue, Allison Fosdick, Susan Taylor-Demming and Supna Jain. They are servant leaders who prioritize the growth and well-being of the whole education community. They focus on students, not parties or politics. They know what it means to be a volunteer school board member. They are in the schools, interacting with students, listening to parents, talking to teachers, meeting with administrators, and advocating with elected officials at the local and state level. They each have their own points of view and opinions that allow your board to function effectively. As a lifelong resident of the district, I am proud to serve with them on the board. They will continue to improve our schools. Join me in voting for them.
- Justin Karubas – IPSD Board VP (2025)
I emphatically endorse Laurie Donahue for Indian Prairie School District 204 School Board. She demonstrates thoughtfulness, critical thinking and a student focused approach to decision making. Her background as a top executive in the technology industry gives her a solid handle on balancing the needs of our students with the needs of our taxpayers and can think outside the box. She is an active board member, constantly volunteering wherever and whenever schools or other organizations need a hand. As a social worker, I know that Laurie puts the social emotional well-being of our students first. It has been a pleasure to work and learn alongside Laurie for many years.
