Naperville has been my home for 43 years.
Elected in 2017 to the Indian Prairie District 204 school board. I have served as president for
over 3 years. I retired in 2018 allowing me to devote more time to school board responsibilities and district functions.
Married for 39 years with two children, Hillary and Ryan, who attended District 204 schools from kindergarten through high school.
I have a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Benedictine University. My background includes leading diverse, global, business and technical teams at AT&T, Lucent, and Nokia. During my career, I was involved in business development, portfolio management, strategy, purchasing, quality and a variety of technical leadership roles on large scale projects. I led a $1B procurement program and had responsibility for a $250M product development budget.
To be successful in my career, I built skills in negotiation, team building, leadership, and communications. Responsibilities required me to be a strong leader making strategic decisions, providing direction, and inspiring superior results.
